Stores like Costco, Ocean State Job Lots, and Walmart have great deals on nuts, seeds, and legumes from time to time. It is not as subsidized as other crops or agricultural products. I usually buy Costco brands that offer shipping. Otherwise, I usually buy nuts at a discount when they are on sale, which requires a bit of a wait.
Usually, sale items are about to expire, so I usually re-grill them and keep them airtight to keep them longer. We chose to use Thrive Market pricing as a benchmark because we found that their bulk nut and seed prices were better than Amazon's leading options. We have no affiliation with either company and we don't make any money if you buy their products. Thrive Market sells almost exclusively organic nuts and has no conventional options.
